a) The principal application of NT BGA funds is for capital projects normally in the form of buildings and related furnishings - this includes cables, sockets and similar for computer networks.
b) Applications for hardware are normally restricted to a maximum of 4 computers in a Library/Resource Area; 4 computers in a Technology area and 1 computer in administration and these must be part of a larger capital project unless special circumstances exist.
c) Software is not fundable.
d) NT BGA funds will be allocated to IT equipment in new building environments and not to IT equipment replacements.
e) NT BGA may vary these guidelines depending on the availability of funds.
